Last year DDS successfully completed its 14th consecutive annual business continuity (BC) test. These tests have demonstrated that we are able to quickly and efficiently restore service via existing methods.
We have begun a comprehensive review of our disaster recovery (DR) and backup procedures with the aim of improving our response time and our efficiency while accounting for the growing scope of web-enabled applications that we provide.
To that end, we are suspending this year's Business Continuity test. We expect to announce an updated BC and backup plan later this year.
We continue to focus on emergency preparedness, and we remain ready to put our existing BC plans into action should the need arise.
