iDesk's online proposal management tool enables websites and agencies to electronically manage RFPs, proposals and revisions, as well as in-flight optimization.

Sites respond to RFPs via the online tool, uploading their proposals electronically. Planners accept or reject the proposal electronically. Accepted proposals enter the planner's system automatically, guaranteeing accuracy between the site and the agency. The same process is used for in-flight optimization. This empowers buyers to easily collaborate with their trading partners to the benefit of the advertiser's campaign goal.

Built-in validation and analysis tools

The iDesk proposal management tool validates the format of the RFP response before it is sent to the planner. Sites are assured that planners can upload any proposals they receive.

In iDesk, the planner can analyze the impact of a revised proposal on the current media plan, at the site and placement levels.

Complete audit trail

All proposals - including their entire history - are stored in iDesk in one central location, easily available to all planners. Planners can easily track proposal history, status and the optimization process.

Training available for agencies and sites

DDS developed an eLearning course to train sites on using the proposal management tool. Agencies should contact their account team to arrange training for site sales reps.

Defining standards for electronic document exchange in digital advertising

DDS is a beta partner in the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) initiative to define standard definitions and processes in digital advertising, to reduce discrepancies and increase efficiencies for agencies and sites.

DDS' iDesk proposal management tool conforms to business processes endorsed by the IAB. In keeping with the IAB's eBusiness initiative, it includes capabilities to interact directly with publishers' sales and inventory systems.
