MLB Network sends electronic cable changes to Donovan Data Systems agencies

NEW YORK - In time for baseball season, MLB Networks joins the long list of cable networks that send electronic cable deals and electronic cable changes to Donovan Data Systems (http://www.donovandata.com/) agencies.

Donovan Data Systems' electronic cable deals and changes capability automates the cable change process and improves communication with agencies.

Sending cable deals and changes electronically reduces invoice discrepancies by synchronizing the agency's system with the inventory in the cable network's system.

The number of cable deals and changes sent electronically to Donovan Data Systems agencies is increasing steadily. More than 45,000 electronic cable transactions have been sent since the inception of this capability in June 2009, and almost 25,000 electronic cable deals and changes have been sent in the first five months of 2010.

Nearly 100 cable networks are using Donovan Data Systems' electronic cable deals and changes, and more networks are in the process of being certified. Clients can see the full list of participating networks.
