Liberman Broadcasting, the largest privately held, minority-owned Spanish-language broadcaster in the United States, launched Estrella TV, a nationwide Hispanic network.
Liberman chose DDS' broadcast sales system to manage the Estrella TV network. "With the launch of the Estrella TV network and the addition of over 20 affiliate stations, it's vital that we implement an electronic order management system. We also want to offer the best possible service to our agency clients, especially as we reach out to an expanding customer base," says Michael Greenspan, National Sales Manager at Liberman Broadcasting.
DARE is the premier eBusiness standard for media
buys, affirms Sherri Franklin, director, SpotPlus y Mas: “SpotPlus y Mas is very
happy that Liberman Broadcasting has decided to use DARE. Our media
partners/vendors that use DARE have helped SpotPlus y Mas be more efficient in
the overall media execution process. We are sure that by adding Liberman
Broadcasting to our list of media partners/vendors using DARE will benefit
SpotPlus y Mas as well as our clients.”
In
early 2010, DDS' order management system will be rolled out to Liberman offices
in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Miami and Dallas. Avail, research and posting
tools for local business will be deployed at owned-and-operated stations
(O&Os) in Los Angeles, San Diego, Salt Lake City, Houston, Dallas/Fort Worth
and Phoenix. In addition, DDS' StationXpress application for connectivity
between stations and Liberman offices will be installed at the O&Os and
repped Estrella affiliate stations.
"We're gratified that Liberman, a rapidly growing rep and station group,
has chosen the DDS sales system for its reps and stations to help grow its new
Estrella TV network. By using DARE, the leading eBusiness protocol that provides
seamless, two-way communication between rep and agency systems, our system
provides the highest level of efficiency available,” says Larry Shiels, sales
director, DDS.
