Grey Group units select Donovan Data Systems

Grey and ghg (formerly Grey Healthcare Group) have chosen Donovan Data Systems (DDS) to provide systems and services to Grey offices across the United States.

Grey will install DDS' BrandOcean workflow management tool, as well as corporate accounting and cost accounting applications. Grey had previously used an in-house system before signing on with DDS.

"Grey is a premier global communications company. Our clients expect exceptional creative work managed in an effective and efficient way," said Bob Oates, chief financial officer, Grey Group. "By partnering with DDS, we've put the best systems and services in place to enhance our competitiveness."

"We're thrilled to have the opportunity to enter this partnership with Grey," said Michael Donovan, chief executive officer and chairman, DDS. "Grey is a world-class agency with an impeccable record for delivering creative solutions. Its decision is an endorsement of DDS, our applications and our long-term development strategy."

DDS already provides systems and services to other parts of the WPP group in the United States, including Young & Rubicam, J. Walter Thompson, GroupM, Sudler and Hennessey, Hill & Knowlton and Team Detroit. "Our agreement with Grey and ghg further strengthens our partnership with DDS and gives us the opportunity to streamline our systems across the WPP network," said Andy Garlick, senior vice president, business systems, at WPP USA.
