Donovan Data Systems promotes eBusiness in digital advertising as member of IAB

NEW YORK - Donovan Data Systems (DDS) (http://www.donovandata.com/) is pleased to announce its membership in the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB), the industry organization working to establish eBusiness standards for digital advertising.

“We're delighted to have Donovan Data Systems as a member of the IAB,” says Randall Rothenberg, president and CEO of the Interactive Advertising Bureau. “DDS has been a pioneer in developing workflow processes and solutions for the advertising business, and its work with the IAB will contribute enormously to our efforts to take complexity and cost out of the interactive advertising supply chain.”

Donovan Data Systems was an original beta participant in the IAB EDI initiative, and is an active participant in the IAB proof of concept group, where it has presented several innovations in the digital advertising workflow and schema in compliance with IAB guidelines. The IAB has endorsed Donovan Data Systems' electronic RFP and electronic insertion order processes, implemented in DDS' iDesk application for digital media planning and buying. This establishes DDS as an eBusiness leader in digital media, as it has been for many years in traditional media.

“As a leading proponent of eBusiness that has collaborated with the IAB, we're thrilled to become members of the IAB and to help lead the way in eBusiness processes for digital media. The IAB has been very supportive of all our efforts to make sure buyers can execute buys effectively with all industry players,” says Harvey Kent, chief media strategist, Donovan Data Systems.

“Traditional media has decades of established processes, and Donovan Data Systems introduced eBusiness procedures to make these processes more efficient. In the digital advertising realm, we were able to get in on the ground floor and have an impact on establishing standards and best practices, which is very exciting,” states Kent.
