Communication in the Event of an Emergency
We will communicate information to you via the following methods:

Phone Calls
You have provided us with your primary Business Continuity contacts. We have stored these contacts in our database and they will be used to contact you in case of an emergency. In some situations we depend on you to contact the DDS users within your company, so keeping those phone numbers up-to-date is imperative. It is advisable to supply DDS with home, cell, and/or pager information for the main contacts.

DDS Website
We have contracted with a third party to host a separate DDS website that will be used in all emergency scenarios. The URL is www.ddsinfo.com. This website will have a client section in which we will keep you up-to-date as to the status of the emergency and the steps DDS is taking.

DDS Broadcast Messages
If the system is available we will also send messages using the normal DDS broadcast message facility. Please note that any messages that go out in this way will also be on www.ddsinfo.com.

Client Calls
In an emergency that requires DDS to evacuate our offices, the main phone lines will be re-routed to another DDS office. Below is the phone chain to reach DDS in case of an emergency:

We suggest you keep this information at home and in the office for easy access. Also, please note that the direct dial numbers you currently use to reach DDS staff will not be forwarded and will go to voicemail. These mailboxes may or may not be accessible to DDS employees.

Timeframes
Within two hours of an emergency we will try to establish contact with you. This is obviously dependent on the extent of the emergency. We will first call you to inform you of the situation and then direct you to the website for further updates. Our plan is to update the website every few hours (no more than three) during an emergency.
