Business Continuity - What Can You Do?
There are a number of things that you can do to ensure that you have the least disruption possible in the event of a problem at DDS.
1. Make sure that we have the right contact name and numbers, including alternate contacts for when the primary contacts are on vacation.
2. Make sure your employees know who to contact at your company in these situations.
3. Make sure your company is aware of the www.ddsinfo.com website.
4. Most importantly, make sure that you have ISDN backup in all your offices in case the line between you and the nearest DDS communication hub isn't available or if that communication hub becomes inoperable. If you don't have this in your offices, it's possible that those offices will lose services for weeks until emergency ISDN is ordered and installed. Please call your account director to discuss ISDN backup. Learn more about the need for complete redundancy.
5. Participate in the annual Business Continuity test.
