| For the first time, DDS buyers can send national radio orders to the rep electronically, and receive electronic confirmations.
DDS worked closely with Katz Media Group to develop REDI, a radio eBusiness solution for DDS agencies to transact business electronically with Katz. REDI functionality is available in Spot Desktop for all clients, for submission of national radio orders to Katz Media Group.
The REDI workflow is also providing the basis for defining the RAB’s electronic radio standard.
Katz invested resources in its new radio system to receive electronic orders from Spot Desktop and return confirmations electronically.
“The seamless workflow lowers the cost of maintaining the buy for both buyers and reps,” explains Harvey Kent, eBusiness director at DDS. “It eliminates faxing and manual data entry, thereby speeding up delivery while reducing discrepancies. Less effort is required to steward the order. And, faster turnaround time helps the buyer secure inventory.”
