Promotes a Paperless Workflow
Media outlets and media buyers can use Invoice Manager to view invoices online and print on-demand, especially useful during discrepancy resolution. Invoice Manager’s viewing capabilities eliminate the need for the buyer to ask the media outlet to fax a copy of the invoice, or the finance department to run a report. Invoice Manager works with DDS mainframe security for authentication and authorization, and buyers will be able to access the Invoice Manager database via MatchMaker. Invoice Manager will be released to DDS media buying organizations once a critical mass of invoice senders adopts the application.

Online Error Checking and Audit Trail
Invoice Manager is the first application available to the industry that performs a syntax and content check on each field for every invoice record in a transmitted file. Invoices that contain invalid data are immediately returned to the sender for correction. Other systems rely on the media buying organization to perform this check, which delays reconciliation and payment. All invoices that contain valid data are routed to the DDS media buying organization clients’ EASI application. Invoice Manager provides a complete audit trail for every invoice sent or returned. In addition, a confirmation is issued to the sender for each invoice delivered to a media buying organization.

Fast, Reliable Transmission
Media outlets and hubs transmit invoices over a secure Internet connection. They receive immediate acknowledgement of the arrival of their files in the Invoice Manager database. Invoices are stored in the Invoice Manager database and are forwarded to media buying organizations continually throughout the day. Invoice Manager’s online archive stores all invoices for at least two years.
