| DDS recently signed three new mid-sized agency accounts: Mullen Advertising, an IPG company based in Wenham, Massachusetts; Barkley, Evergreen & Partners, an independent, full-service agency based in Kansas City; and KSL Media, an independent company based in Los Angeles and New York.
“We have always been competitive in the mid-tier marketplace, and the advent of our desktop and productivity suites makes us even more compelling,” says Ken Breen, marketing director at DDS. “If you’ve seen our new products, you’ll know that we’ve really succeeded in raising the bar.”
"This bears out our business strategy of concentrating on the big picture,” states Breen. “We make strategic enhancements to our applications that enable our clients to grow their business efficiently and cost-effectively."
“By focusing on long-term goals we're better able to serve our clients,” says Breen. “As a result, we're attracting new clients in the middle market and I'm very optimistic about our ability to continue doing so. This bears out our business strategy of concentrating on the big picture and not challenging our energies into expanding our features list. We keep reinventing our products rather than adding nice-to-have features. This has enabled our clients to grow their business without adding a lot of staff. In the meantime, our competitors spent a lot of time and effort adding features requested by their clients. Now they are left with basically the same products they’ve always had.”
“When we remain focused on our long-term goals for our products, even if it means saying no to specific requests, we actually serve our customer base better,” maintains Breen. “We are now positioned to attract these companies, and I am very optimistic about our ability to capture more business in the middle market.” | |
