| DDS is providing clients with a new means of evaluating stations’ electronic invoice delivery. The EI (electronic invoice) Toolkit identifies the local TV and radio stations able to send invoices electronically, and the extent to which they are using this capability.
The aim of the Toolkit is to enhance our clients’ efficiency and productivity by increasing the number of electronic invoices they receive from trading partners. Electronic invoices save our clients time and money associated with manual data entry required of faxed invoices, and eliminate the cost of third-party scanning services.
DDS developed this tool in response to a request made by the 4As to identify stations that are sending invoices electronically.
The EI Toolkit downloads data that you can analyze and format in Excel. You can customize reports to include market name, month of service or any other details that appear on the invoices. The Toolkit also identifies those stations that are not currently delivering invoices electronically.
The reports provide hard numbers that clients can use to convince stations to increase electronic delivery.
“This toolkit provides our clients with information that they could not access in the past. It is part of our effort to make agency clients more efficient by marrying our mainframe data with other tools. We not only give clients data, but also recommend how they can use it. It’s all part of bringing our service to another level,” says Frank Chu, senior business analyst at DDS.
