| There has been recent press coverage about DDS. While some articles are mostly factually correct, others paint an inaccurate picture of the situation and of DDS’ business.
Our view is:
- DDS honors its contracts. In fact in all our years of business, we have always honored our contracts with all our clients regardless of whether they renewed with DDS.
- DDS has accumulated over 40 years' worth of intellectual property in its systems. Our intellectual property rights are of paramount importance to us and we go to great lengths to protect them. We are pursuing an action with regard to our intellectual property.
- DDS has an enviable track record of winning new clients. In the past 10 years, when our systems were placed side-by-side with those of competitors, we won almost every pitch. We are proud to provide our clients with the most advanced systems in the marketplace, and at the lowest total cost of ownership.
- DDS spends approximately $50 million per annum on developing new applications and maintaining existing ones. Our largest competitors spend a fraction of that amount.
- DDS is in the vanguard of innovation and is announcing the biggest rollout of new systems in its history. These new systems not only improve process in traditional media but, more important, they are built to handle the new digital world, so our clients can handle digital media efficiently and effectively:
- iDesk: providing efficiency in the buying of all forms of response-based media, including internet display, search, mobile and served video
- MediaOcean / Spot Desktop: providing efficiency in the local TV buying process through direct connection between buyer and seller
- BrandOcean: creating efficiency of workflow in all types of agency.
We are extremely optimistic and excited about the future of our industry and about DDS’ continuing role as our clients’ partner in helping them achieve their goals in the new and fast evolving world of digital media. | |
